As I go through last year’s wedding photos and migrate some of my old blog posts over here to this new site, I’m always excited to try different cropping and processing on some of my favorite images. Janice and Mark’s wedding took place last Thanksgiving weekend, and the weather was spectacular. Bright skies with all the leaves in their autumn colours made for a really great day at the Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London. Their wedding took place in the teensy little chapel on site, and the reception was held in a rustic barn from the pioneer days. I love how small and intimate their wedding was. We did all of the formal photos prior to the ceremony so that they could begin their reception as soon as they were married. Beautiful! So here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding day. I hope you like them too!
One of my most favorite things to do at a wedding is shoot candids of people laughing and enjoying themselves. Nothing is more satisfying than capturing someone with a real smile; really enjoying themselves and sharing in the joy of the whole wedding. You can’t pose that or fake that. It’s all real, baby!
All the best to Janice & Mark! Thanks for the wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at your amazing wedding!
