There is something really beautiful about a simple wedding with elegant personal touches. That’s exactly what Kristi & Jon had in store for their guests at the Cambridge Mill back in early July. When I arrived that morning, the sky was looking a little dreary for the outdoor ceremony they’d been hoping for!
When Kristi arrived to get dressed, she looked fantastic and kept on smiling even though I think we were in literally the worlds smallest bridal suite! Seriously! This was no bigger than a walk-in closet, but Kristi was taking everything in stride.
Wouldn’t you know it, the clouds parted just in time and the outdoor ceremony was on! Kristi & Jon opted to be married across the street from the Mill in the small stone amphitheatre which was gorgeous in the sunshine. Jon walked his mother to her seat — look at those proud parents!
I love all of Kristi’s super-cute smiles and giggles!
The guests were treated to a beautifully simple and classic lunch reception in the Cambridge Mill’s breezy open hall, full of great storytelling, mingling and just plain fun!
Once lunch was completed, Jon, Kristi and I went to a friend’s farm property along the Grand River for a few final shots…
My favorite shot of the day! So cute!
Congratulations you two! And all the best for your new arrival in the winter! *wink wink*!
