Carla’s Trash The Dress – Brantford Wedding Photography

After shooting Carla & Tony’s engagement session and wedding this summer, I was totally excited to meet up with Carla again for a trash the dress session.  We didn’t want to destroy her gorgeous one-shouldered gown… but we wanted to have a little more fun with it.  So this past fall, we took a trip along the Grand River here in Brantford to make use of the pretty autumn colours, and yes, even the water in the river itself.

Carla tells me that her dress dried fairly quickly thanks to the material it was made of, and a little dry cleaning took care of the rest.  Score!  :) Kudos to Carla for braving all of the wacky ideas that we had!

Franny & Jeff: Chapel of Hope, London Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to FINALLY share another wedding on the blog with you today!  This one is stunning.  Like, really really stunning.  Franny & Jeff were married at the Chapel of Hope in London on a cool fall day that threatened rain.  Luckily, the drizzle held off and we had such a wonderful time.  It is so refreshing to see a bride choose a unique dress like Franny’s.  Covered in lace, this form fitting gown with capped sleeves was just absolutely perfect for her.  (and Jeff looked pretty rockin too!)  Enjoy a few of my favorite shots from their day in London, followed by a simple dinner reception at the Auberge du Petit Prince restaurant.
